Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Mingle has no online account and no server, and it never uploads your notes, photos, or voice recordings anywhere.

Why does the app ask for the microphone / camera / contacts?

Only to power the matching feature: the microphone records voice notes, the camera captures photos and business cards, and Contacts access is used only when you choose to import or export a person. Every permission is optional.

Is voice transcription private?

Yes. Transcription runs on your device, so your recordings aren't sent to a server to be processed.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual people inside the app, or remove the app to erase everything stored on your device.

What iOS version do I need?

iOS 17 or later.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

Mingle Networking ("the app") is a personal networking and contact-notes app. This policy explains how the app handles your information. The guiding principle is simple: your data stays on your device.

Information the app handles

Depending on the features you use, this may include:

How your information is stored

All of this information is stored locally on your device. Mingle contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software, and it does not send your data to us or to any third party. The developer has no access to your data.

Data we collect

None. Mingle does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Voice transcription is performed on your device.

Permissions the app requests

Each permission is optional and only used for the feature described. You can manage or revoke any permission in Settings > Privacy on your iPhone.

Sharing

The app only shares data when you explicitly choose to — for example, exporting a contact card (vCard), creating a calendar invite, or saving someone to your iPhone Contacts. These actions are initiated by you and stay within your own device and accounts.

Children

Mingle is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
